Our client is one of Australia’s leading diversified mining groups, with operations in QLD and Western Australia they are well positioned to take advantage of strong commodity market. Currently having substantial operations in QLD and significant growth opportunities in Western Australia they are able to offer an exciting and challenging career path.

Due to continued growth in their QLD operation our client is seeking to employ an experienced Chief Geologist. Reporting to the Site Manager your strong leadership and communication skills, together with a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role will provide a platform for you to make a significant contribution to the ongoing success of this robust mining operation. It is anticipated you will have 10+ year’s underground Geology experience and ideally 2 years in a leadership or management position. In this key leadership role you will be responsible for the daily management and budget of the geology team and associated contract personnel.
