MINE SURVEYOR – OPEN PIT JOB: VR5887


12/9 Roster FIFO Perth, Broome or Derby

Our client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Mine Surveyor.

The position available will suit anyone who is a recent survey graduate or already has experience with in the mine surveying industry.

It would be necessary to hold a Grade 2 authorization or be in the position to obtain an authorization, as well as hold a current WA Drivers License (or be able to obtain one).

This is a great opportunity to be a part of a small survey department, being involved with the day to day open cut survey requirements, including but not limited to:

• Drill and Blast set-out
• Blast pick-ups, Ore mark ups
• Control pegs for mining limits
• Various other miscellaneous survey requirements by other departments including civil associated survey requirements.

The successful applicant will need a desire to survey, work responsibly and also unsupervised. Joining a small mining team you will also have the opportunity to gain experience while assisting the Engineers and Geologists when time permits.

Any previous Survey experience is beneficial with experience using Trimble GPS systems, Trimble Robotic Total Stations or Vulcan Software useful but not essential.

This position is based in the Kimberley region of WA, with a 12 day on / 9 day off roster, FIFO of Perth, Broome or Derby. Preference will be shown to candidates residing in the Kimberley or who are willing to relocate to one of the Kimberley regional centres.
