We are currently assisting an International Mining Company in their search for a Mine Planning Engineer. This position is based at our client’s established underground operation in North Qld, working a lifestyle friendly 8 and 6 roster.

Reporting to the Mine Superintendent your duties will include:

• Design of mine development plans using Surpac
• Assist in developing, maintaining and updating mine planning procedures
• Annual reserve and life of mine planning
• Generation of short and medium term plans

To be successful in this position you will possess:

• Degree qualifications in Mining Engineering
• 3 + years post graduate experience
• Previous mine planning experience within underground mining
• Surpac experience is desirable

As well as an attractive roster FIFO from Townsville or Cairns our client is able to offer a relocation package to either city or salary sacrificed flights from any other location. In addition you will be offered a competitive remuneration package commensurate with your level of experience.
