The Role
Reporting to the Manager Technical, this role will involve completing all aspects of Long-term mine planning and scheduling, ensuring optimum utilisation of Rosebery’s resources. In addition, you will be responsible for long term and Life of Mine production schedules to enable the achievement of the company’s strategic plan.


The successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this position will be a suitably qualified and experienced Long-Term Planning Engineer with a minimum of five years post graduation mining experience, preferably in an underground environment. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work closely with technical personnel, and demonstrate a risk-based approach to the management of hazards.

• Creation and implementation of daily and fortnightly mine production schedules
• Recognizing and developing engineering techniques to assist in mine production optimization
• Ensuring all waste material is dumped in accordance with required guidelines
• Assisting in the development of graduate mining engineers

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Degree qualifications in Mining Engineers
