TREASURY ANALYST - Qatargas

Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar. Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects, including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.

TREASURY ANALYST (Cash Management)

Qatargas Cash Management Section provides cash management services to the various joint venture companies operated by Qatargas. The main activities of the treasury analyst will be as follows:

• Reconcile forecasts to actual bank activity and investigate variances internally as well as externally with banks.
• Prepare fund transfers to ensure all company accounts are adequately funded to meet scheduled payments.
• Assess surplus cash available for investments and distribution to shareholders.
• Place funds on short term investments with approved counterparties.
• Handle opening/closing bank accounts and general bank account administration as per company P&P as well as establishing investment relationship accounts with various counterparties.
• Participate in treasury system design set up for new companies when required.
• update of cash management P&Ps as well as develop new ones if necessary.
• Able to read and comprehend legal documents such as Joint venture and Accounts Agreements that govern the operation of the companies assigned.
• Assist with managing short term liquidity requirement through external funding if needed.
• Supervise and assist in training and developing new/existing staff.
• Regular communication with banks for funding, investigations, investments etc.

1. SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER
• Hands-on-experience appraising and developing fields; experience with horizontal well developments a significant plus.
• Strong drilling engineering skills, able to move comfortably between different stages of the development cycle.
• Proven self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks gets the job done; works well under pressure.
• A team player who works effectively in a multi-discipline setting; good communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively across functions ie. with operation and logistic.
• Creative thinker willing to challenge the status quo in search of better and improved ways of doing things.

2. SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER
• Hands-on-experience appraising and developing fields; experience with horizontal well developments a significant plus.
• Strong reservoir simulation skills (Eclipse).
• Strong reservoir engineering skills (material balance, PBU’s, PVT, Nodal analysis), able to move comfortably between different stages of the development cycle.
• Exposure to horizontal well planning a plus.
• Proven self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks gets the job done; works well under pressure.
• A team player who works effectively in a multi-discipline setting; good communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively across functions ie. with drilling and production.
• Ability to interpret field production data and integrate into reservoir simulator.
• Creative thinker willing to challenge the status quo in search of better and improved ways of doing things.

3. SENIOR GEOPHYSICIST
• Good all-round interpretation skills. Understanding of amplitudes and seismic attributes. Understanding of seismic processing and data limitations.
• Workstation experience - Seisworks (2D and 3D). Must be prepared to adapt to a volume interpretation environment.
• Ability to understand and integrate geologic data and models with geophysical interpretations. Appreciation for the genesis and evolution of basins and associated hydrocarbon systems. Understanding of shale tectonics and basin modelling and fluid flow.
• Team Player. Flexible and open-minded. Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Creative. Able to generate and champion new ideas. Enthusiastic and optimistic.
• Independent, self-starter. Influences own work direction.
• Good communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of ProACT is a plus.

4. TREASURY/ FINANCE STAFF
• S1 degree in accountancy.
• IP Minimum 3.00.
• Comprehending better, accountancy flow.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office as word and excel.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Man, and maximal 25 years old.
• Single.
• Loyal, downright, and accurate.
• Experience at same position, minimize 2 years.
